Health disclaimer
Read this before you change anything.
The one thing that matters
If you are ill and taking medication — keep taking it and talk to your doctor. Everything described here is done alongside treatment, never instead of it. Anyone telling you to drop your pills and meditate is lying and will do you harm.
Who writes this
A man who went through it, not a doctor. No medical degree, no licence, no therapy qualification — and no pretence of having one. What you read here is personal experience and what helped one person. It is not a diagnosis and not a treatment plan.
Meditation does not cure. It muffles.
It does not remove an illness — it turns the volume down and can make the treatment you already get work better. That is a real effect, and it is a different thing from being cured. Nobody here promises pears on a willow tree.
Salt, cold water, food, fasting
These are things one person does and describes. They are not prescriptions. Salt matters for blood pressure and kidneys, cold water for the heart, fasting for anyone with diabetes or an eating disorder. If any of that is you, ask your doctor first — not the internet, and not me.
Plants from the forest
Never eat anything you cannot identify with certainty. Some plants that look harmless are not. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, allergic or taking medication, check before you try anything described here.
If it is bad right now
If you are thinking about hurting yourself, this site is not the right place to be tonight. In Poland call 116 123 (crisis helpline) or 112. Elsewhere, call your local emergency number. Talk to a person, not a screen.
The game
Stone and Shadow names its bosses after things people carry — a bottle, sugar, fear. Beating one in a game changes nothing in real life. It might remind you which one is yours. That is all it is for.
